The project “C'est qui mon village ?" (Who is my village?) was designed and is supported by the 3 cultural centers of the Plaines de l'Escaut Natural Park: the Foyer Culturel de Beloeil, Arrêt 59 and the Foyer Socioculturel d'Antoing as well as the GAL des Plaines de l'Escaut. The idea is to question rurality in order to draw up an artistic and sensitive portrait through six artist residencies.
The visual identity highlights diversity through multiple graphic elements. Small houses, unique and colorful, punctuate the communication media and play with the questions raised by the title of the event. Various complementary festive graphic patterns evoke the landscape without making it a figurative representation. The set creates a multifaceted and dynamic identity that is easily adaptable to different use cases. To support the diverse text content, distribute the six selected locations and ensure consistency over a long period of time, I have set up a system of stickers; these “stickers” indicate each current residence and its key information, allowing clear identification, while maintaining the basic visual. This system also guarantees easy use and production of combinations for internal teams, on a whole range of communication media, from print to web, in order to maintain graphic consistency throughout the project.
