René Sansen — Exhibition
René Sansen is an extra-ordinary character, deeply rooted in the City of Ath, with a life marked by multiple and surprising trajectories. Cabinetmaker, sculptor, creator of giants, teacher, teacher, accomplished athlete, archaeologist — he embodies a multitude of passions and skills that make him a fascinating figure.
For the exhibition at the Maison des Géants/Office de Tourisme de Ath, I designed a series of communication supports, including a large wall panel, which traces the extent of his career. My work is based on archival iconographic sources and a colorful graphic treatment, a rhythmic layout, which forms a whole evocative both of a certain era and in phase with the contemporary visual landscape.
