With 40 bachelors and more than 200 masters, its training offer, which benefits from international quality labels, is one of the most diversified in Belgium. The ULiège Foundation is a structure created within the University of Liège which aims to promote research and university education through grants and donations, the support of efforts, the promotion of well-being and the influence of the University of Liège in society.
The creation of the visual identity of the ULiège Foundation is based on a balance at the crossroads of institutional values and a graphic treatment that places it in a contemporary space. The main typeface, which at first glance is classical, reveals interesting visual subtleties. The choice to use it in an extremely fine fat, coupled with a fresh colored treatment, makes it possible to convey an unexpected vivacity while maintaining a strong institutional base. Secondary typography, geometric and humanistic, brings contrast and fluidity of reading to the whole.
The colors were chosen to boost perception: bright hues punctuate the compositions while creating striking visual highlights. The main roles of the Foundation are expressed in the form of a verb (Participate, Support, Contribute) and used as a title, in a specific color palette and treated as narrative pivots in a half-half grid, thus taking advantage of a double space: an impacting visual such as a photo and an identifiable colored area, and an identifiable color scheme, support for longer text content. The layout is structured and exploits differences outside the traditional margins to reinforce the dynamic aspect and contemporary of the supports. Excerpts, numbers, titles, very fine and large, cleverly dosed, punctuate the composition and create breathing points. Iconography plays a key role in transmitting emotions and the photographs retained add a human and engaging dimension - their colorful richness also echoes the other elements in place.
A visual identity that highlights the ULiège Foundation and positions it as a key player in the influence of the University, which inspires, brings together and amplifies its message to its audiences.
