
Between 2010 and 2020, Poème 2 reinvented itself as an interdisciplinary space, where literature takes on a new form, renewed by orality. Under the direction of Dolorès Oscari, this mythical place on the Brussels cultural scene has established itself as a platform for highlighting contemporary French-speaking Belgian authors, while becoming a crossroads of creation and meetings between writers, poets, philosophers and the public.
I designed a visual identity around red and a diagonal for Poème 2. Red as a common thread, the logo composed of two bars like the Roman numeral II, with a diagonal that slices and forms a “P”, in a circle, like a dot, an exclamation point. This geometric structure is available on all media, from publications to site decorations, and evolves over the seasons while maintaining a strong visual unity.
The creation of communication media, books and various publications, from signage to posters and large formats, is part of an evolving approach, where each season refines and enriches the basic visual identity of Poème 2. Each element, each graphic detail contributes to the construction of an immediately identifiable universe, in perfect harmony with the vibrant spirit of this living place of culture.
